Hello everybody!
I’m pretty busy at the moment, with various things, such as:
- Essays – I’ve got one in on Friday for English, and two in for History the following Monday. Eeek!
- Writing for Gair Rhydd (the student newspaper) – the esteemed editor of this award winning publication commented on the “Menance to Sobriety” article, don’t you know! Thanks for the comments, Mr Gary! I’m currently working on a couple for pieces, so keep your eyes peeled.
- Reading – particularly for my course, but I’m also reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
- The Christian Union – I’m enjoying being involved. There are lots of friendly people to get to know and things to get involved with. The weekend after next will be the CU houseparty.
- Navigators – no, a society of people trying to navigate from one geographical location to another, but the Bible study group I’ve joined that meets on Tuesdays.
- The Debating Society – on Thursday evening I have fun having a good argument!
- And just general looking after myself – cooking, washing clothes, all the dull stuff that needs to be done.
I’ve also borrowed a few books on pantomime and comedy writing from the library. Mum suggested that I should write a pantomime script for the amateur dramatics company for next year, which would be fun, so I might do that if they’re interested. So plenty to keep me occupied!
