Hello folks! I’ve had a couple of articles published in recent editions of the Cardiff University student newspaper Gair Rhydd. One of them was a pretty big piece, two thirds of the page, 1000 words, for the Opinion section on why I’ve chosen not to drink alcohol (for the time being at least). It was given the headline “Menace to Sobriety”, which I’m not quite sure whether to laugh or groan at. I’ll try and get a scan of the actual piece scanned in and uploaded when I visit home next week. I also did a news report on the six nominations Gair Rhydd received in the National Student Journalism Awards, which will soon be awarded at a glittering ceremony, apparently. I’m enjoying being involved in the paper – if you’re in Cardiff, try and pick up a copy and see if there’s anything in there by me!
